NFDI e.V.
The Association German National Research Data Infrastructure (Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur, (NFDI e.V.) aims to make data systematically accessible and sustainably available. The NFDI aims to create a permanent digital repository of knowledge as an indispensable prerequisite for new research questions, findings and innovations. Relevant data should be made available according to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable).
NFDI e.V. is based in Karlsruhe and was founded to coordinate the activities of the various consortia for establishing a national research data infrastructure and to link it to international initiatives such as the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
